It might be company wide. I called in Monday letting them know I would be ready Tuesday morning. Load I got didn't pick up til this morning in Henderson, NV. I thought maybe they felt so bad about getting me home two weeks late they gave me another day off. (Yeah! Right!). I deliver tomorrow In Phoenix then pick up a load to KY.

    You two kids have fun!

Does the company allow you to "TEMPORARELY" remove the cupboards for a fridge? because i can remove them and store them on the top bunk and put them back if i change trucks!!

In a word, No. Lease ops may, but company drivers cannot remove cabinets. I have refrigerator and it sits on my top bunk, there is a net that buckles in to hold it in place, works great.

Anyone else going to atlanta for training? I'm picturing myself sitting in an empty class. There is an add on craigslist for trainers (new school and all)
Anyone seen the dorms they have at that facility? I know that its a pretty scary part of town. I hope I dont have to pay for my hotel by the hour!! ahhaha!!

I dunno man.. If your a really bothered person by those small things.. I would say.. Find a diffrent place.. But if your really handy.. I would do it and not say anything.. You just better make sure those cabs don't break or worse.. Then your in a deep hole.

I dunno though.. I took a door of of my cab to put my cooler in.. I just keep it safe and if I know a central mechanic is gunna be in the truck.. I screw in 4 screws and the doors back on.

We are down to 6 in our class, unfortunately one of our guys couldn't pass the pretrip test and was sent home. We did about 130 miles on the road today, we had two trucks and groups of 3 so we each got about 1.5-2 hours of driving. I guess we are a pretty good class because we are class 214 and we went through hills and canyons that the instructors had never dared to take students before. We all nailed 3.0 scores (A+ basically)! Now if that translates to our road tests tomorrow we will all be golden!
