I remembered that I was in your territory and would have loved to meet you, however, it just wasn't meant to be. Was in and out of Detroit by 1030. Am keeping you in mind tho.

I'm just north of Indianapolis on I 69. Will be almost out of MO by tomorrow. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!!!! Going home!!!!

When I 1st pulled into this Pilot here, I figured the world must be coming to an end. It actually has a sit down eating place here even if its only a Denny's. Nachos weren't bad and just may splurge for breakfast also. Tired of honeybuns and cold cereal.

Widow, if you've got the drive and REALLY want to do something, go for it!!!!!!!!!!! Bet you'd do well.

Well my first solo 99 went well. A nice little drop and hook. No need to hook on the way out since I was rewarded with a "quick" repower a whole 7 miles whick took me somewhere a W9 should never be. Of course they assigned me a barely possible door and unloaded me late, causing me to be late to my next preset and missing their "loading hours".

So... I'm sitting at the Love's in Chandler AZ so I can get a fresh start at the blindside parrallel alley dock with a fixed obstacle course to boot which awaits me at Schrieber in Tempe. Wheeee!

Looks like I'm heading home via Missouri. Which is okay... every mile east means a matching mile west to SoCal.

Thanks to all the words of encouargement from everyone. I will be going to talk to an admissions rep on Thursday and touring the school. And hopefully get all the paperwork going to get the Hope and Pell grants so that I can do this with out coming anything out of pocket.

1bad had he best week ever on this check 3295 miles. Wow if we could pull this down every week we would be on our feet in no time. Almost a grand with an advance coming out. I was utterly shocked. Looks like the girls my get a decent xmas after all!

Be safe out there everyone and Jess, you could call sometimes. I miss our late night talks but I never know when is a good time to call anymore. I'm almost always free so hit me up when you can.:biggrin_25525:

I have a BS in Motion picture production from Wright State University in Ohio. I am taking online classes, which is what I recomend for you. I am doing the university of phoenix thing, taking information technology the nice thing about it is I can do the classwork on my schedule and I only do one class at a time so it's going to take awhile to get my masters been doing it for over a year now almost. Now it did help that all my credits from WSU transfered and some classes I had taken I don't have to take again. But at the pace I am going It will take me about another year and a half to get my masters in IT.

So if I can do it driving a truck, then anybody can.

I did consider the online thing. But I think I need to attend classes for 2 reasons 1) adult interaction (which I get very little of now) and 2) that will make me do the work. I think if I were to do the online thing something would always come up and I would say I can do that later but later will never come. If I am in a class setting I will want to be the one who always has the right answer that is just the way I operate most of the time.

Sounds like fun, if you need help don't be afraid to ask, GOAL. And if you can't do it, just say, "I can't do it in this truck." They may have a yard driver that does that all day long

    I just tried calling ya!

JJ and his FM had a lil run in this AM :biggrin_25512: He hates it when she BS him and he let her know this morning he wasn't running the short crappy load with 40% deadhead!

She said they were underbooked in PA and then when he refuses to dead head to NY he gets a load offer from Palmyra PA under 50 miles away an hr later:biggrin_2556:.
Was it daycab Bill or was he in his Pete? He is delivering in San diego right now in a Central daycab that he swears the clutch is gonna fall outta.:biggrin_2559:

Only 4 miles from the Okie border and can just taste that hometime coming!!! Widow, ain't gonna tell you nothing bout what I ate. hehehehe Do wish some country fried steak could be involved but will have to go to the Del Rauncho iffen I want that.
