your right we all like what we like and thered nothing wrong with that. theres always gonna be that ford chevy rivalry that guys have being a chevy guy myself i do also have a fondness for the old chrysler muscle cars ( charger 66-70, challenger 70-72 and the 69 daytna and70 superbird) but the one car that i will add to my collection one day will be a 34 ford 3 window coupe chevy powered of course those things are just timeless. and i know what your saying about an empty once those trailers get up in that area they just vanish. you know we have a drop yard outside of groveport about 5-8 miles away try there sometimes youll get lucky

My uncle has 68 300C with a small block hemi. He also has a 68 Dodge Dart and a 57 Ford Thunderbird. I love each and one of those cars. They drive well too.

Looks like we might be outta the truck sooner then we thought!
Not sure how I feel about it, I will miss the lifestyle but not the P*ss poor pay that Central pays its Lease Ops.
This weeks pay was -$65.00 (From the week we got stuffed around in NC) no Layover pay like promised even though I filled out the Mac for it.
So it looks like we will get one pay in the next three weeks with JJ having this much time off for drill, lets hope the army pay him quick for Drill.

Well I'm in Linclon, NE today. Nice little run. Am at a new truck stop at xt 395 that says its open but parking seems to be limited due to construction still going on. Suppose to be an 85 + but ain't no way its going to hold that many right now.
Already have a preplan but its only a short hop. Beer from Collins to N Platte. Looks like I'm going on the shorter runs for now since I'll be bumping the 70 starting tomorrow and will be going home on the 10th. YEA HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -
I caught a ride with a random driver out of SLC last night to meet up with my OTR trainer at Denver tonight. He's out of hours so we're having an exciting day of him sleeping and me twiddling my thumbs at the Ace warehouse in Colorado Springs as I slept 1/2 the way here. I hope I get some sleep in today, and some driving in tonight!

Kinghunter, pm sent.
Bbechtel, I notice you are from Harrisburg. Ever go through Mechanicsburg? There is a factory that makes electrical connections "AMP" in Mechanicsburg that is within walking distance of my Grandparent's house.
I always asked my FM if I could deliver there so I could suprise my grandparents. Got to deliver there about 5 times and I suprised them each time. Absolutely my favorite memories from my Central days.
Good luck to you, Man! Hope you have as great of experience at Central as I did.Last edited: Dec 3, 2009
The Challenger Thanks this. -
Yep. I lived in Mechanicsburg for 3.5 years!

Does this mean that JJ is going full time? I hope and not that he is going to Afghanistan.....
