All too often we hear storys just like yours some even get off at a truckstop 2,000 miles away from there homes. I ask the same ? but in a nicer manner I support them and do my best to teach everything I can. It sucks when some of us go all out while others spank the monkey and act like *******. I'm sorry your 28 days were spent as they were but thats the luck of the draw as for Kurt his job is to talk you into stayn on the truck. Best of luck to ya o ya your trainer is to be there for you for the next 6 months kinnda like a helper sounds like your won't.

For all of you starting school there are alot of these kinds of trainers, stand your ground and do your best it's a game your playn and only the strong surrive Central promises the moon but all you get is a rock. I can say this because I've been here for almost 2 years now I train, lease a truck and haul beer for them Coors ya no.

Ya.. My trainer was great!! I was pretty lazy and used to having everything given to me.. My trainer is a ex marine.. He whooped my big butt into gear and I haven't look at life the same, since he helped me find my way..

Not only did I get a job but I got training in what it takes to live life.. He was a great trainer.. If anyone would like to know more about him or want him to train ya.. You can hit me up.. From the sounds of it.. He's on of the few great trainers here!!

Do you have to lease a truck at some point from Central or can you stay a company driver?

Jasper give me a call and I can answer most of the questions you have. This one is easy no and you would be a fool to lease from them!

    jasper_truck86 Thanks this.

I had the pleasure of meeting bbechtel16 at WVC. He seems to have his head on pretty straight. I think he'll do fine.

I'm now picking up a load in West Jordan, UT. They are really backlogged here. The told me it would be about 10 hours until I get to a door. Just talked to a Central driver that was just pulling out. He said he was here 22 hours. UGH!

As it stands right now no but the lease may be the thing Central pushs hard in 2010 they want to be a leaseing company 80% lease and 20% company. This will not mean you need to lease but if leaseing means keeping your job what will you do. There not buying any company trucks as was said so what will they do for you when you upgrade. I wont put the lease down and I wont build it up I do ok sure I've a bad week but other weeks are good I run dedicated and my D/M is great. What will happen in 2010 is left to be seen so lets just sit back and watch if it gets to bad I'll just quit.
