Finally was given permission to drop trailer in Gaffney. Then got deadhead for 280mi back to Snow Hill NC and a 99 in WI. At least I'm moving. The armadillo still ain't happy.

I don't believe this crap anymore! If it wasn't happening to me it would be a funny movie.

I call the 01 to see if I can park on property because otherwise I would be late. I follow the directions from the mac27 and kill my 14 getting there. Check in and am told that I am at wrong location and Central drivers usually come here by mistake.

I take my 8 and I'm late. Take my 10 and I'm more late.

I remember working with a small freighter captain that worked off the coast of Maine back when I was in the Navy. He once told me "You know what's worse than a cluster f###? A buzzard f###! You my friend are in the midst of a buzzard f###." The last time I saw him he gave me a beanie baby type buzzard to remember those days.

Next time I get to my mythical home in the mythical state of California I'm bringing that old buzzard along for the ride. It can keep the armadillo company.

    This week sucked...
Maybe 1800 miles, and not even sure I got that.
At least got some extra pay for a short haul and a 6 stop trip around Maryland.
Accepted a load in Richmond yesterday, was supposed to load this morning at 0600.
Got a call at 1800 yesterday that the load time had been changed by the shipper to 0700 on Sunday.
But my dispatch would not take me off of it because they were short trucks in the area due to drivers home for the weekend.
So here I sit for 27 hours. To pick up a load that is going 550 miles, but at least delivers the same day.
Then a pickup monday morning going to Chicago for monday afternoon.
Never did make it home this weekend, but he said he will try and get me home mid week.

Stop 1 is pick up the load and the 99 is deliver the load unless its a multiple stop load.

Pay close attention to their 'three-strikes and your out policy.' They will briefly explain it Monday morning, along with lots of paperwork. Be prepared to fill out again the same forms you've already sent in to your recruiter, so have all the addresses and phone numbers handy.
    Best of luck to you.
