Well yesterday sure sucked weather wise. Picked up in Dodge City and am heading for NY. Snow on the ground when I picked up and if anybodys been to National when its snowy, you know its hard as heck to adjust the tandems. Lucked out tho and found a spot where 2 tlrs had been picked up so pulled in there and had no problems. Had 2 trks call me on the cb and wanted to know if it worked. lol

Trailed with one of our trucks for awhile and enjoyed it. Was another long haired old hippie like me and was going to run together again today but his xmission crapped out yesterday. Lucky I was running with him cause I've got tools and he didn't.

1 of our drivers took a hell of a ride yesterday. Saw the truck when I went by. Evidently a plow threw snow across he windshield and he went # 50 ft down a slope before hitting a bank. Trks totaled but he walked away. Aint seatbelts WONDERFUL!!!!

the first statement you said was correct and well stated. the second statement you said was not true.

make up your mind. cuz both statements reference the same thing. LOL.

the correct information was posted. i've actually had to be my own lawyer.

..wow, Yogi is pulling the pin & leaving Central, sorry to hear that u couldn't make your 1 yr, now are they gonna make u pay the tuition for your training? .. some of the others in your class are gone now too & some are still driving aren't they? I guess the pay just wasn't enough to make it week to week then? Good luck getting home & whatever you decide to do next & thanks for being up front & letting us know it didn't work out for you at Central..

The difference being "paying a settlement" vs. making a payment. Yes making a payment will re-start the time the SOL. But paying a settlement will not - it stops and the account is complete.

Again - not discounting you, only the information stated. It's my job to know this. :biggrin_25514:

in theory that SHOULD hold true. but some dogs aren't that trusting. not a chance i'd want to take so near to the end. :biggrin_25525:

i could see being 6 months old. but not when there's only 6 months to go before deletion.

I heard that along time ago. But there is more too it. Read the CARB regulations for California that are coming into effect regarding reefers, and for older trucks. I heard Central is going to pull out of California altogether, and cross dock freight in phoneix or Las Vegas, and shut down the Fontana terminal, the first step is getting all drivers dispatched from fontana moved to WVC. I could be wrong, ymmv

Well the Gods sure are laughing at me now. After being able to run between storms the last time out, have now run thru 2 of them. KS and now NY. Least I'm at my 1st drop and have the whole parking lot to myself. Pretty sure they'll wake me up if my alarms don't. hehe
