As a l/o do you pay pump price, or Co. disc. price if there is one?

or do you have your own fuel acct. set up to save some money.

i know the co. i work for has set up a co. disc. for its trucks but they do not pass along that savings to their l/o

They pass any savings they get to the L/O.
I know they sent a message last week saying that there discount in network was about .25 less per gal than the national average for the week. The FSC is still set on the national average though at 6 mpg. I keep waiting for that to go up to 6.5 or something. But you figure it at 1.20 per gal, 6 mpg. It changes every week depending on the national average.
Just have to keep the deadhead down as much as possible. The only fleet we have that I know of that pays FSC on all miles dispatched loaded and empty is the Coors fleet.

We do not haul to Florida much at all anymore. It has to pay very well to go down there. We use to have a coke acct down there so we had loads out. But lost that last year. So now it is rare we send many down there, and I don't think we hire in south Florida anymore.

Take a old milk create with 35 lbs lift it up 36" and put it on a shelf don't bend your back at all or you start over then back to the floor . Do the same with 55 lbs and then with 75 lbs. This done 3 times per weight or 9 times total. Next you lift the same create with 35 lbs from that shelf to a shelf about 60" off the floor and back do that 3 times then again with 55 lbs 3 more times.

Second you take the create with 55 lbs and walk about 50 feet and then with 75 lbs for the same 50 feet as if you were walking the length of a trailer and your heart rate is checked each time you lift that create. Then it's a push pressure test and a pull test again heart rate is checked.
Thats it for the well fit test just don't bend your back spread your legs apart more and use your legs to lift thats what they want to see they don't want a hurt back claim. The rest is easy lots of paper work most of all don't lie they call everyone on your app. They are short on trainers as well as trucks so it might take some time for both we have guys going home for 4 days while they look for a truck.
They will check your heart rate as well as your blood pressure each time you do something as well. All in all it's not hard JUST DON'T BEND YOUR BACK AT ALL USE YOUR LEGS.

You will do a lot of paper work and they will check everything as well as call every number you put down. Will be in the yard come Friday 5 of us so the training will be good 2 to 1 NICE but hot.

Well that's it for now hope this will help and good luck on your bus ride Dragonmatrix all will go well.

B&J if you are a husband wife team she needs to get ready we lost 2 women because they could not lift the create without bending there back
so your wife will need to wide'n her stance

thanks for the info on the weight test. But are you sure about the weight? I have a bad back and don't think it'll support 75# lifted three times? What do you think?

Can't speak to Central or CRE but can give a suggestion on how he can increase income. If he is running 4400 miles as a solo, he is either fudging logs or is running 75 MPH most of the time (figuring 60 hours of driving/10 hours of other on duty work) to achieve an average speed of 73.3 mph. Experts say that slowing from 75 to 65 (and this was when diesel was around $2.50/gallon) will put nearly $10,000.00 per year in your pocket. That is a lot of pocket change for a few less miles a week.

Hey, Chrome, I knew about losing the coke account, but I thought we got the Americold contracts back? Have we lost them again already? If we lost those Americold contracts then I think you are correct that we wouldn't be going to Florida much.
