Welllllllllllllll we have been stuck in Portland since Wednesday!!!!!!!! Not a happy camper right now:biggrin_25510:.
Finally got assigned two loads yesterday one from Clackamas Oregon (About 30miles from us) to Boise ID, To be picked up today and delivered tomorrow and then a nice run from Boise ID to PA (2300 MILES) andddddddddd then it gets changed, instead of three drops in Boise it was changed to 1 drop in Boise and the other drop in Twin falls and then dead head back to Boise to pick up the PA load. JJ let dispatch know he wouldn't have time to do the Boise to twin Falls run because of the 14hr rule and that would make him late for his next Appointment time. Soooooo he was Un-assigned from both loads and now we have a load out of Kent WA on Monday and Deliver in Minooka on Thursday not bad miles a lil over 2000.
When we started posting on this Forum we both said we would give an honest accounting of how it is going at Central and I think we have pretty much lived up to that. Well talk at you guys and Gals later time for me to get Laundry folded.

My experience with central was awful, sad and insulting to truckdrivers. If you drivers think central is nice and cozy u need to breath some fresh air. They lie, cheat and intimidate anyone in there path. The vip area is a disgrace to all drivers who stay there. They need to fire the whole mgmt team/dispatches. Only hire truckdrivers who know the buisness. Nobody helps you and when u need help u have to beg for it. One dispatcher made $80,000 last year over his regular pay. You ger .29 first six months then .30 after six months. AFTER ONE YEAR YOU ARE UP TO .31 PER MILE. Do not get into leasing because they gor u then, you will be paying more per week than u earn. Report all trainers who treat u wrong and make sure u document everything.

I have been with them over a year, and have not had many issues.
I have to call payroll at times to have things fixed, but other than that no real problems.
I also agree though that dispatchers should get a salary, no added money for anything else. It makes them push the drivers to run illigal. I never get pushed anymore, they know I will not do it. But many allow them to.
Oh, and driving dry vans or reffers that is pretty standard pay around the industry. Better than most training companys, and dry van companys, for nonexperianced drivers.
Even starting flatbed companys do not pay much more than that, for more labor.

Jess-JuJu, we wouldn't want it any other way. There is both good and bad at all companies, including ours. Thanks for your honest posts in good times and bad.
