    I was talking to a driver and he mentioned the certifications needed to haul certain materials.

    Gas requires one...and others that can be obtained.

    Can someone list the different certs that are available and what they pertain to?

    Are you talking endorsements? Double & triples and tankers and haz met. Haz met requires a whole other application process and background check separate from DMV.
