Certifying logs while on hometime

    Is it normal to ask drivers to certify logs each day during a 7 day hometime? I'm logged out of the ELD, the truck is parked at a truck stop and the tablet is powered down. Seems ridiculous to me. Am I wrong?

    I've never had that happen and I never certified the day coming home or my days off until I was going back out, never heard a word. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot on that! You're not wrong but maybe the weekend crew is a little bored perhaps?Ignore

    They have their own a company app and it has messaging and notifications. This reminder is automatically generated if you don't certify logs.

    If it’s set up automatically the app doesn’t know you’re home and off duty, it probably only knows you haven’t certified your logs.

    Ignore it, if company presses it find another. I log out Friday, Certify, log in Monday, Certify & certify every morning through week, which is more then most do. Don’t fret the little things
