Certifying logs while on hometime

    I didn't think it was that important, I did it for my convenience. Once I clock in at work I get paid by the minute for all delays, so no I am not a slave.

    I get what you're trying to say, but you can't be ODND while switching between other statuses, because you can only be in one status at a time.

    Do you have to go to ODND when you sit in the drivers seat for that 30 seconds when you leave the sleeper and step out of the truck? Has common sense gone out the window?

    Kinda missed the point. If you don’t have to go on duty to push one button why would you have to go on duty to push a different one? Sort of like how the FMCSA has said short phone calls and responding to messages doesn’t interrupt your break.

    You can't go on duty in order to switch between two other statuses.
