I drove for CFI from March 2001-July 2007 and overall it was a good experience.

That being said, I recently found out that after I quit them they hit my DAC report with a "Broke company policy", whatever that means.:biggrin_2554:

Probably wont stop me from getting another job, but a crappy thing to do after working for someone for 6 1/2 years.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. It didn't slow me down when I left them.

Of course, the economy is differant now.

I guess so but it still sucks.

I take pride in being a professional and these companies shouldn't be allowed to tarnish someones reputation so easily.

I'm going to send indignant emails to alot of people over this one.

It is :biggrin_2552: They hate being told you don't like something and you're leaving.

What gets me about this 2 week notice companies require to give is this. If you go with another carrier, or company, (none drivers) They sometimes want you to quit your current job, without given them a notice. So you can start right away with them.. But when it comes time to quit them, they want a full 2wk notice. What is good for one, but is not ok with the other.. I had a company try that with me once. I was at this paper company for almost 14yrs, then when I went for a better job, the new company wanted me to quit without given my current company a notice. I told them no they have been good to me all these yrs, and I never leave without given a notice.. Same thing when I left Swift, I gave them a full 2wk, notice before I started with my now current company.

The other thing about that is the company doesn't have to give you the same 2 week notice before they tell you good-bye!
