    This was my metabolic panel about a year ago. Everything was pretty good. Just needed to avoid fatty foods. And for a person of my weight. (Sad to say about 300lb) I think I’m fairly healthy.     Check it! I check mine every morning when I wake up. Takes just a few seconds to do it. The pharmacy at Walmart will show you how simple it is to check.

    My wife is a rental nurse so I check mine on a regular basis. Plus I have an app to show changes. Drink plenty of water!!!! If ur peeing a lot and waking up at night a lot to pee, have ur doc check u. It’s probable that ur pre-diabetic. Don’t panic!!! U can fix it as long as ur bg isn’t bad or kidneys ruined.

    Lol pleas don’t get me paranoid about pre diabetic. I do know that my doctor hasn’t me on lisonopril for my blood pressure and for the fact that I have a little excess protein in my urine. But the matabolic panel doesn’t lie. Cholesterol/glucose are in fairly healthy standards. Maybe a little bit on the higher side. But overall healthy lol.

    I understand. Just go get a bg kit from Walgreens or Walmart or off Amazon. Get an app to keep track and poke urself and get a reading. I do mine before my coffee and in the evening after dinner.

    Yeah I used to do it all the time but it’s in storage now. As the worst I ever saw my blood sugar go was like 150 something but this was after a really crazy meal lol. I always saw it below 100 other times when testing it at appropriate times. Sometimes I’d even test right after a meal and I’d see it spike up then an hour or two later check it again and it’s be back within normal ranges again. I’m genuinely not too concerned with my blood sugar. But it doesn’t hurt to be mindful.

    An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I do mine because it’s good to info plus I don’t always have a chance to eat healthy. Yes I cheat!!!! Lol
