I told the cat we ain't ##### footin around no mo.

We gonna dump this OTR gig so we can be told what to do and when to do it.

 

Good on you doing your own thing with a great gig. Needs to be more of that in trucking.

 

Of course I told the cat we're going to have to get her paws stretched so she can pat herself on the back once we make it BIG doing local.

 

From my understanding from a few ex-Conway drivers I’ve talked to on the road and here on the forums everything has gone downhill since CFI took over.

 

What a shame. CFI was a great company back when Mr. Brown and Mr. Schmidt (iirc) were in charge.

 

Doesn't it seem like as soon as the kids take over these companies or the original owners pass etc... They just go down hill sharply? I'm not old enough to know what it was like, but I heard Werner was a prestigious company at one point.

 

Same with Western Express. When the kids took over,the writing was on the wall.
