This, I just dont understand this industry, if someone else makes a mistake, they blame it on the truck driver. threaten with collections and so on, is just petty and unprofessional. its a business and a job, nothing else.

I hope the rental agreement has cfi's name on it and not yours. If so, then you have some leverage on them. I'm not sure how a trucking company can ding your credit when the rental agreement is in their name. But it is possible I suppose (using DAC). It sounds like cfi is covering for a manager who forgot to return the car. Just state your case calmly and thoroughly like you have done here, and try to work it out with them. I would consider hiring an attorney as a last resort. GL

The rental agreement was paid for with their credit card, they sent me instructions on what to do, during orientation and were to drop it off which I followed and did and I took several pictures of the car on their property with time stamps of my first day of orientation morning. there trying to say I took the car as a way back home, which I dident I payed for my own rental which I used my own card to do so, I have proof of this. as I had to put a 300 dollar down-payment down through enterprise.

CFI is notorious for pulling this. I went through orientation with them this spring and on the first day half of the new hires walk out because they were lied to about their pay, route and other issues. I left on the last day after taking enough of their lies.

    Darkstar455 and Getsinyourblood Thank this.
