chain laws

    Are there any states that require chains this early in the year what dates for what states, where can I get this info, don't want a ticket for not having chains.

    British Columbia requires chains from October 1 thru April 30..

    Colorado started on September 1st, I just Googled it because we will probably be going across Vail with this load.

    colorado requires sept 1 to april 31 along 70 between mm 259 and mm 133. but i think colorado also has the highest peaks in the country. 11,000 feet at the tunnels.

    haven't really seen any other chain signs on the west. or the east.
