Hello, I have a trip to southern Oregon from Long Beach CA. Does anyone have any current info on chain requirements? I have looked at Cal Trans and other sites. Just wanted any current information or in the near future. Thank you in advance.

Thank you very much for the information. I plan on staying in Corning overnight then drive threw the next day. If I can bother you all with another question. Jake brake in the current conditions there. The answer I get have been all over the place.

Yes OR definitely requires you to carry chains or socks. I think Nov 1 to May 1. OR DOT has good info. Google it.

Thanks for all the good advice. Got up to Oregon with no problem. Might have been the slowest truck doing so but I’m ok with that haha.
