I'll take the cold everyday. I can always put something on to keep me warm I can only take so much off.

I duck hunt, deer hunt, and spend most of the winter on the ice. The right clothing makes all the difference. Just heaping on clothes doesn't work. I have long underwear that are $160 for the top and the bottom. Sounds ridiculous but you can move around without being bulked up and they wick the moisture away from your skin. It makes the difference between setting in your deer stand or wading through 33 degree water all day and being comfortable not cold.
The key is NO cotton should ever touch your skin.

I will soak a tee shirt in water to wipe the sweat off and also help cool me off. As well as Drink water and take breaks to cool down.

Your body can't process and absorb it if it's a drastically different temperature. It has to warm it up before sending those much needed water molecules to your tissue. So while a ice cold drink "feels" better its less effective at hydration on those days you are busting your butt in South Texas.

Not a problem. Not sure it was worth the fifty grand that took quite a few years to pay off but at least i learned a couple things other than how to party at college.

Try louisiana. I will take the higher temps the desert has over that ridiculous humidity they get.
