Well.... I'd like to see someone with (2) 5/8" chains on Grade 120 on a 50K coil. That would be funny right there. Lol..

Dude I'm thinking your eyes have got to be brown. 20 1/2 inch chains and the chain pulls aren't 1/2" they're usually 3/8. Shutting up and learning something is way better than talking out your ### about something you have no clue. Perhaps you're better off in the doorslammer threads. I'm still lmao about 20 1/2 inch chains thru the eye of a coil hello you're wll if the chain was the weak point and all indirect would be 240,000 lbs not including the twelve straps which adds 64800 talk about over securement.

I'm smelling something too @haulhand , I carry 19 1/2" binders on my setup. I think all the regulars on here know what I do...
20 1/2" binders along with appropriate quantity of chain hanging in an atypical flatbedders rack will break it, I just have to third your second of @cnsper 's post...

RGN, skootertrashr6, cnsper and 3 others Thank this.

Three years of flatbed time is half inch chain in several companies. I have said in the past I know little about true working/breaking strengths. I throw chains until there is no more to throw on whatever it is to be secured. To this day I have only had two loads shift under heavy breaking out of hundreds.

I undertstand you may think I am not all that great here. But I will say my two cents from my experiences which vary from yours and everyone else here. Take it or leave it. I don't mind at all.

I wouldn't get to worked up. Most of x1heavys posts make you wonder if he fell down and hit his head or he hits the bottle plenty early.

You can start private group conversations. Oscar started one once when some guys had the same complaint. It went nowhere.
