Chalk up TMC as a bad company.

For what it is worth..... TMC shakes hands with Western Express. When I did work for Western, I hauled many of their trailers, as well as TMC pulling Western Express trailers.

TMC is the better half of the two. During my training several drivers came through and said when you are ready to make real money come to the company that pays you. Alas these are dire times. For me to get on a truck I did not let them send me home. Every day I would make the shuttle trip, and every day I waited patiently for the trainer. So my advice is for those whom get to training for a company? Dont complain about the wait, be patient, you want the job, it means you stick with it. Alas I left after 10k miles and was only paid $0.13 cpm (slightly off of the 0.30).

I dont mind working, yet last I heard slavery had been abolished.

 

I believe trainers get $15/day while with a trainee. That figure might be wrong, but they do get a little extra for training.
