It's not up to your DMV they just administer the test.
You'll need to pass the TSA background check,

There is nothing stating anything about the mental health question you asked.

I think as long as these idiots are shooting kids and some of the other crap that is going on keeps happening the laws on ALL mental exams and protection orders is going to get tighter. If I am not mistaken the TSA is a governmental agency much like the FMCSA. All they have to do is place changes to this list in the federal register. I'm so dang glad I am retired now.

    It gets worse.

I witnessed first hand a elderly lady in the Pharmacy this morning blood pressure tested before being decided if it is in range to get certain medicines. Her BP came out twice to a 210 over 115 range and she was denied medicines to buy. So she left empty handed with a recommendation to visit a doctor like really soon as those pressures are stroke territory for her.

Two of my meds were denied by insurance due to a specific change in regulating making it impossible to fill more than one prescription at the same time of any schedule two medicines, particularly meds that enhance each other's effects for addiction, abuse etc for some. Ultimately I bypassed the insurance restriction and filled both with cold cash which is legal.

Mental exams are already prevalent on every visit I take to a doctor these days. I have a online patient portal which holds the tests given and results of them if any put in by the doctor and his staff on the MH evaluations. I could take screen shots and upload them here for your viewing pleasure. I'll have to google some of the really big words straight from the MH Diagnostic Version 5 Manual. There is one even in there called disaffection disobedience disorder meaning I am stubborn, hardheaded and not inclined to obey instructions. HA.... imagine a school kid saddled with that minor diagnoses after being rebellious in school and then issued medicine until they are zombiefied.

Uncle Sam has tried to make a push to cross agencies and get into other agencies databases. For example There was a effort to get into Social Security data bases and mine them for MH People to report against these for purposes of denying gun sales etc. Social Security defended their turf well enough so far. But if they did this then my entire medical history going back almost a life time of contact with SS in a variety of ways would be opened up. Aha, he takes this med, that med something other meds. Boom let's get him into the MH Hospital pronto.

    Yea right.

Someone stop the earth a minute, I want out.
