    It blends. At the tank wash places I go, most use regular #2 and a scouring, brillo type pad to clean all the fittings and hose ends. Diesel will even cut old resin. I know, cause I did it myself.

    Another guy I work with does the same thing, maybe not to the degree I do, but he dumps it in on one side and in a few hrs, both tanks are noticeably darker in color. It just blends it

    If you dump the oil in while fueling,with near empty tanks,turn the motor off or you'll plug your filter. Been there done that.

    One gallon to two hundred gallon fuel. After I start the hose,I'll move the nozzle front to back a few times to help mix it.
