Only additive I ever used (before I this egr/scr burden) was wal marts brand SuperTech 2 cycle Marine oil. Half quart in each tank every fill up. And it worked wonders.

Yeah when they have signs up prohibiting changing oil in a truck stop parking lot because some stupid ### thought nothing of dumping oil in the parking lot or down a storm drain. Really who can't schedule and work things so they can once in a while get by their home base to take care of oil changes and such anyways?

    Jayrag and truckon Thank this.

Big difference between trying and Doing!

If I need to perform a quick PM in the parking lot you'd never know I was there. I leave it cleaner than I found it.

    Cottonmouth85 and sshewins Thank this.

I've changed my fuel filters in a peelot several times. Spill less than the rookies filling their tanks

Thats one way. But hey if I was gonna be sitting for any amount of time then I'd do it. Free up more time at home.

    sshewins and Cottonmouth85 Thank this.

I change my own. buy it by the drum (55gal.) dump old oil in another drum. have an oil collection service buy it off of me to get rid of. my local dump will take the old filters after I let them drain for good long while.

    sshewins Thanks this.

I think I've said it before, but that burnt lube comes in handy around the ranch. As a penetrating oil, weed control, lighting brush fires, on top of fence posts, mixed with the ag diesel....

sshewins, icsheeple and truckon Thank this.
