Effective immediatley for new hires and Sept 21 for current IC's. Empty mileage will be .80.. .10 less than current. IC's will now pay all tolls, scales, and permits. The fuel rebate is being reduced .02 per mile. Loaded miles will be paid at .90 for loads over 500 miles. England sites the economy as the reason for this. No break for us though. Our truck payments are still the same. Our variable mileage is still rediculous. I paid over $1100 last week to lease this truck. Company drivers pay is being reduced as well.

Sounds like that England is having some financial problems and does not want the drivers to know about it.

My best advice is to go to Central Refrigerated b/c it's just down the road from England in SLC. I think that they offer drivers who want to drive compnay a chance to have a company truck w/o all the headaches.

Central just had cuts also for both Company and Lease Operators. They aren't hiring experienced drivers I'm told unless they want to lease.
