Changing horsepower and effective torque to the tranny.......

Welcome to the "Lawyer age" !!!!!!! If you guys will remember, we learned to drive on two sticks, or an early ranger & the "old man" would thump our knee every time we "scratched" a gear. Now these guys come out of a 6 week, or less school, have NO idea what they are doing & have the tag of "trainer" hung on them if they can make "on time" delivery's" for 3 or 4 months. My my, wonder why the engine lawyers are "gun shy" ???????

 

Ran a 1876 Cat with a Spicer 5 & 4 for almost 10 years & the only drive line failure I had was pulling out of the lower dock # the Hamburg, NY rolling mill & trying to show off. Twisted the jack shaft so bad it looked like it had threads cut on it. MY FAULT !!!!!
