sorry it's 15ft-lb that all of them torque to. the nuts on the injectors be careful not to tighten to tight you can snap the post's off. they torque at an inch lb. and i cant remember what it is.

When you go to pull up on the plate, you may have to loosen up one end of the hard fuel line and coolant line that goes over front end off that plate. For clearance purposes only. Also, you just may have to remove the actuator/jake housings due to the possibility of clearing certain tabs on the plate. If you don't, then you lucked out. Mark the jake housings in order to put them back in the same spot...if you do have to remove them.

yes forgot about the fuel and water line on the front sometimes it will clear sometimes they wont.if you cant get to the fuel and water fittings on the head. then you will have to take the front jake/vva off. for clearence. just torque it back on like the other post said. you wont have to worry about setting lash gap since it will be going back on in the same place.unless the holddown studs back out holding the rocker arms down. then i would check lash.

In order to remove the valve cover base, where all the wire harnesses are you need to remove at least the front jake/IAV head to remove without removing the two hard lines in front of it. I would have to look up the torque again. But only some of the engines had bad studs. I would contact cat with your serial number to confirm if your may have a problem. Happy fixing.
