I posted this in the experienced drivers forum because I figured this would be the most likely place to find someone who may have done what I am planning to do and could answer me a question or two.
I am currently a resident of Florida and am planning on moving back to Georgia to be closer to family. I hold a Florida Class A CDL with no endorsements and a health card with my florida address and drivers license number written on it. I'm trying to find out if I need to get a new health certification issued with my new GA address and DL # or would it still be valid with the old out of state identification information on it? Also... if I need to get a new health card... which do I need to get first? Health card or DL? I'm fairly certain they will not issue you a CDL at the DMV without a health card but I would think you needed the new DL to show the physician at the time of your certification?
Thanks for any help!
