Many states have n online form for in-state address change. You can alway go to DMV and do it in person or call and ask what to bring when you go in person. I'm 99% sure there is an online way to do this. TX will say on there website what to bring with you. My state, not TX, was happy with a utility bill at the new address and car registraion. I suppose my DL and the car egistration confirms I am the name, while the utility bill confirms my name at the new location.
BTW, they may not reissue your CDL card with the new address on it. They may just change the address in their files. -
go online or in person, and do it.
-
In Tennessee you can't do anything online if you have a CDL. In person only.
tscottme Thanks this. -
When I lived in Tx I changed addresses twice. Visit to the DPS office, pay $10 and you're done.

Anything with a Texas CDL has to be done in person at DMV. Make sure to check the dmv website for a list of accepted documents for the new address. That way you're not looking stupid at the DMV and the wait in a seemingly unmoving line.

I moved next town over in Mass and had to go to the registry in person to change my address.
