Don’t forget the starting fluid if the bead doesn’t want to seal.TallJoe said: ↑Finding a place to change a spare can be frustrating. Especially, after 6 pm. I had a flat tire but nobody to put the spare on.
Seems that carrying tools to change your own spare is not that big a deal except maybe for the bottle jack... I mean, if you don't have an attached tool box.
I watched a few YouTube videos and they are pretty good about sealing up tires without the cheetah tank.
Is the truck compressor pressure pumping with enough speed to seal up the tires like that, with the air line hooked up to a glad hand??Click to expand...shatteredsquare, AModelCat, Rideandrepair and 4 others Thank this. -
No a truck glad hand doesn’t provide enough volume to seat a stubborn bead.TallJoe said: ↑Finding a place to change a spare can be frustrating. Especially, after 6 pm. I had a flat tire but nobody to put the spare on.

I always just carry a mounted spare. I will change them from time to time out on the road myself. Cost is a factor, because some roadside service outfits will really stick it to you, but it’s mostly for time. I can just have it changed and back on the road before the roadside tire guy can get there. Or it’s after hours where they really stick it to you, if they even answer the phone.
If you run a lowboy with hydraulic neck, there are ways to raise the trailer tires off the ground without a jack.Speed_Drums, Tug Toy, SL3406 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Thinking of the M677's instead of XDN2's, and I'm a Michelin dealer. Thanks

I reckon you haven't picked up enough speed to pass me. I'll try to post a pic of the back of my trailer.
