I'd like to know how much it was too. I need to know if I'm over paying.

In Illinois there is such thing as non-convitcion probation the arrest shows but not the conviction...

I was arrested for unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance(methamphetamine) on September 7, 2013, in which I did a deferred prosecution type thing called Drug Court here in Alabama. You pay $2100 and you are in it a year(some longer as they continually mess up or do not pay their fine). They give you three times to mess up which they call "sanctions". I initially plead guilty to the charge at the beginning of the program as part of the deal. If I had gotten 3 sanctions, I would have been sent to prison for 7 years. No sanctions, one year, and $2100 later, they dismissed my charges. I spent 31 days, 18 hours, and 14 minutes in the county jail and the thought of 7 years confined was enough to set my paths straight. But all glory goes to Yeshua or Jesus, whichever you call Him. I done my security threat assessment last month and was cleared as of yesterday. I was searching on here the last couple of days due to being worried about the assessment so I thought I would post this to see if it helps anyone. I had hazmat endorsements on my license prior to all this and never lost my license or the endorsement either. Everyone deserves a second chance. I would be worried about the third, fourth, fifth, and so on.
I went to an interview about 6 months into my drug court and was telling this gentleman who owned a wood forest products company about my ordeal, and I told him the truth about everything, and when I had finished speaking, he looked over his glasses and said, " I like you cause you are honest." Blew me away that the truth holds so much power. He didn't hire me, however, due to me rolling a log truck the previous year but the drug thing didn't bother him. Will never pull logs again either.

    Boardhauler Thanks this.
