If any one can tell me what should be your price when working for a direct shipper . I may be getting a couple of contracts but I don't know how to charge them. Thank you

Do you know what the going rate is for that lane & the product you are hauling?

Seriously, your question couldn't be more vague. No cities, equipment, nothing. You may luck out and have a psychic owner op that can help you but no one else can without a whole lot more info.

Let me fill you in. Brokers most of them make at least $150+ on each shipment booked. I get the same load list as the brokers do and I love it when they call asking me to haul something and I already know about the shipment.
Nothing for the most part around here moves for less than $3.00 per mile.

i wouldn't think it be hard to be a brokers price.

if it's anything from what i've found out so far. the rate to the truck is 20% - 30% of what the shippers have been paying.

the last load i got a price on. was $2400 for 800 miles to the legal load. $15,000 for 1,000 miles to the heavy haul that went with the legal load.
1 load, 2 trucks. $17,400. customer paid SIXTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS.

Ummmmmmmm......not sure what to say. But the vast majority of freight being moved today is not in heavy haul; not at rates close to what you describe, and ..........there's more to that story than you're telling.
