Couple more former Cathay pilots used to post on here. Been a while, so don't remember their screen names. Said they were laid off. I think one of them lives in Michigan.

Hope to go back this spring when school is out. I'm an old guy, but have 2 children still in high school.
Hope to stay about 3 months. Covid lockdowns are over now even in Hong Kong. Herd immunity is the only way to go.

 

Have you been to Macau? I'd like to live there I think. It's China's version of Las Vegas.

 

Been a few years since being in Hong Kong. Had to change planes to the Mainland, Beijing.
Exchanged about $600 USD to Hong Kong dollars.
Then on the Mainland, couldn't spend the Hong Kong dollars. So, I used it for tip money in the states.

That bridge is open now. Not much automobile traffic though; mostly commercial traffic, buses, trucks, taxis, etc.
