    @147Grain
Figure out what you want to do, be it van, reefer, flatbed, tanker, etc...
Then figure out who hires grads...
I did exactly what you did.
    Career, then got into trucking.
I started with eagle 2 years ago, hauling gas.
Then I got trained in chemical, and then dry bulk.
I never want for work when seasonal slow down happens... I'm always rolling.
I looked at things when I got into this, and decided that van was boring, flatbed I didn't wanna work that hard.... Tanker looked interesting, and the money is generally better.
I tried cryo for a month. Not my game, and the company focus was skewed.
Great guys there, but again, not my game.
    I like eagle.
    They always do me right.
Yeah, I can make more money elsewhere, but there's things I value more than money.
    Charlotte terminal is okay.
Definitely better than most, from what I'm told.
You'll have the same crap at any company you run with... It comes down to what crap you're willing to put up with and what you're not.
I think you cab do well starting with eagle. Opportunities are available to grow as a driver, and variety of loads is fun.
I might run gas 3 days, bulk 2 days, or gas 5 days...
If I wanna pick up an extra run, they're almost always available...like when I load bulk... I'm back by noon, and still have 4 hours to make more money...
Pm me if you like, and we can talk.
I'll share my experiences with you candidly, so you can make your own informed decision.

    Numb and 147Grain Thank this.
