Im somewhere in the middle on this one. Bad things happen even if you plan for everything you can, and i can understand reaching out for help. On the other hand there are many questions as to WHY he went broke that would sway me one way or another.

Did he have medical issues for him or family? Did some ###wipe in a prime truck hit and run him and cost him weeks or months of downtime? Is he actully hauling cheep freight? Is he good or bad with money? That kinda thing.

On principle i dont nessesarily object helping out if he has been blowing away his cash on say a sick kid. On the other hand if he has a chrome addicition.....then im considerablly less inclined to help.

If you're one break down away from losing everything, with no savings and no ability to even get a loan is it the correct thing to do to continue on with the business when reaching that point?

A profitable successful business should be able to get credit or take out a loan. He can't supposedly, why?

Maybe we're all wrong, maybe he just made up whole story to get some get cash to go blow at the strip club.

The fact anybody can say anything on the internet and get lots of people to donate is wild.

Giving me some ideas :idea1: to record a video of me crying standing next to a maxxforce international and then watch the money flow in. just kidding

    I would say no.
But that’s not my issue with the your comment.
Blanket statements without all the facts are meaningless.
I’ve tried to teach my kids and my grandkids that you can’t judge people strictly by what you see.
People with fancy things aren’t necessarily rich and those that don’t are necessarily poor.
The old don’t judge a book by its cover.

Why do we jump to these conclusions?

Because we are in the same business as he is, and we all know what the truth is for most of the situations people get themselves into, it is money management that got them into the situation.

I can't see helping him when there are a lot more deserving people to help. He needs to get rid of the truck and be a company driver. That will solve a lot of his problems, he gets his check, and he lives without the worry of another $15k breakdown.

Ok here's more inside the "book"

Made it to point where he said he has a 700,000 mile Freightshaker, also said he has bad credit score, carrying high credit card balance and is credit risk.

So that in part explains why he couldn't borrow for his repairs.

Added video to first post and another.

I agree completely. Money management is the major issue.
Hauling cheap freight may or may not be his money management issue.
It could also be buying the wrong truck. It could be a bad lease contract. It could be the company he leased to. It could be his ex-wife. It could be his drugged out kids.
Those are all part of money management.
And possibly it’s a combination of all of the above. We don’t know.

Added more older videos from this dude.

6 months ago 700,000 mile Freightliner, also said he has bad credit score, carrying high credit card balance and is high credit risk.

3 months ago "just barely making enough money to get by"

    So picture more clear now
