depends where your going in Texas and the money u wanna spend

If your looking for driving jobs in Texas,
then the truck stop would be your best bet,
one you can ask drivers if they're hiring, and if they like the company.
Plus it will give you place to eat, shower, etc ... -
In that area, there are dozens of cheap motels.

I dont mind to pay a little bit im kinda on a bidget and will be checking the oilfield areas, where i guess there wont be a lot of available accomodation. I really dont mind staying in the car and just showering at the truckstops etc

Buy a pop-up tent at Wally World and stay in a KOA campground. Texas State Parks have cheap digs too.

Better buy an air mattress, too.

I think most state parke charge ten bucks a day or something like that. You will nit find cheap rooms in the oilfields in south or west Texas. I've heard from guys in south Texas if you can find a room you'll pay 150 a night atleast.

I haven't found an available room here in Midland/Odessa under $100....I too went the cheap route by tenting it. Midessa oilpatch RV campground is KOA, but they were full...I ended up at the Midland RV park which runs $20 a night...has WIFI, showers, laundry etc. which works for me. The only caveat with this place, is that they prefer to do 2 nights only...in my case, they were willing to accommodate my needs, and give me a week...YMMV...but if nothing else suits you here, then this may be something to call home, for at least a couple nights anyways.
