Cheating on log books

    To me, it's just more of the continuing effort to legislate perfection. It can not be done, contrary to what some may think. It's like legislating happiness...

    ....any more and I'll end up back in the Political forum, which I've just about left entirely....

    Agree with you on the political forum. I poke my nose in every now and then, but I don't like the language, insults and name calling.

    I was impressed with Bosco, though. In the last thread I was in over there, he didn't do any of that.

    Quick note, you can legally drive more than 11 hours in a day. Given a trip with fuel stop and pti one could drive 13 hours in a 24 hour period legally.

    It's #### near impossible to run legal in my job but since we're area drivers we don't have to do log books. We also don't do a lot of driving per week either, usually 100-500 miles a week. The problem is we spend a great deal of time on location an without a sleeper. I just mark a lot of that time off duty...I actually do have a lot of down time but no sleeper.
