i'm done with this one. it's pointless trying to explain this to people who just don't get it. that's why some of us can be and are pilots and the rest of you aren't.

First off, I think it is a nice photo. Second off, knowing that wing itself carries a lot of fuel would cause me concern because if my trailer were to create a spark, the fuel tank could possibly explode. If it were me, one would do a lot of convincing to get me to drive underneath that wing.

    Rsellers,

Stick around as you have lots of good information. There is a ignore feature you can use. Also, nice to see another aviation person on here.

    To the op,

Your pics are cool and interesting. Would love to see more.

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I dont like being around aircraft that big and Flying Musician has valid points. That pic was from a company I used to work for. One of the reasons I left that job was having to drive into strange places with a truck that I did not like to go to. Oh well, new job and life goes on.On the lighter side I do like smaller aircraft and the following picture was from a car show I was at with some buddies. I got a nice pic with my buddies 33 Willys and my 70 Swinger just in front of a Texan. This was really a cool photo op!!

One I don't know all of the facts two its not my place and three that was one hell of a pic. nice job I even like the new especially the Swinger, I'm a dodge fan!

Thanks Bud, lotsa years and lotsa bucks to get that Mopar back to glory. Its a blast to drive. Carried lots of parts back in the rig on return trips. made contacts along the way and arranged to meet up and exchange bucks for parts. That saved TONS on shipping but it took more time to restore the car but it was worth it!

But yet on the forum I get on for airlines they had the story of the air traffic controller that was letting his "little" kid give departure clearance to airplanes at one of the busiest airports in America. All the pilots on there thought it was cute and were screaming no harm no foul. Yet a driver thought it was cool that he got to drive under the wing of a big ### plane, posts a picture of it and gets chastised for it by a pilot. Bet if it was the other way around and the pilot taxied over it, it wouldn't have been such a big deal.

I just reread this posting, as I was the first to question the escort's procedures. Nobody chastised or blamed the driver at all, everyone blamed the tarmac escort for not following procedure. I had a barely speak English escort at JFK almost run me into a cargo 747. Thankfully I stopped following his directions and got out of the truck to look.

I believe the topic of this thread was "check this pic of my truck under that boeing." So he was next to a tube full of miserable people crammed in like sardines waiting to eat crap airline food with grumpy flying staff....Big deal, nothing happened life goes on. If airlines really stressed safety this much, there would not be pilots falling asleep at the controls overflying their destination by hundreds of miles. Or being declared legally insane like that JetBlue pilot recently was, there are plenty more examples...

    Awesome picture by the way.
