Anyone found a way yet?
I bought an endoscope for my phone from walmart.com. But it comes with a Chinese app I'm not comfortable installing.
Any suggestions on a endoscope or borescope or whatever. Or will that not work?

Milwaukee has a battery powered borescope...
Plumbers use them too.snowwy Thanks this. -
That's a little pricey for something that will hardly get used.
Amazon all comes with 16 feet cable. Plugs in to phone but that's too much cable.
HF but the screen is small. -
Just stick your hand in by the pads, you can feel the thickness of the pad. If they have dust covers, just take them off so you can see the wheel seals.

Looking for rust on the disc to make sure they are working properly is about all you check. Could look for cracks plus checking the pads. Probably have to pull tire off to check them

As long as the rotors are shiny I check my steer axle when I put tires on and I check my drives once a year when I rotate them.
Suspect Zero and 86scotty Thank this. -
I don't about you all but ain't no one getting hands anywhere on mine to feel the thickness. The caliper blocks the back and the bracket blocks the front.
This is local traffic. Brakes don't last as long as long haul.
I have to wait for a flat tire to see them. -
Been able to do it on FL/Volvo/Pete & all my trailers.cuzzin it Thanks this. -
I pull a wheel personally but I know that's not easy for some. You could drop by a tire shop and ask them to pull a wheel for you to check them out. Probably just cost you a few bucks since they aren't breaking down a tire. -
655k.
It had an inspection labor day week. And it needed brakes and rotors. But I didn't see any new rotors. And now the truck is starting to wobble with the brakes.
Last time I had a flat tire right before the inspection. That tire was somewhat low.
