Anybody have any idea how to check a fuel filter on these 2014's? I guess they used to have a sensor on bottom of fuel filter but mine dont have this. RA was kinda thrown for a loop because they thought I should have that sensor. After looking at a video from Detroit Diesel on how to check the filter on a DD15 I was able to confirm to RA that no I had no such sensor and my filter setup appears to be different than what is in the video.

Does it have the two filter set up? If so it has a water in fuel sensor midway up the filter housing. I also has a low pump pressure sensor to check for restrictions in system. That sensor is near the backside of the fuel filter module

No idea on a 2014 set-up. What's your truck doing Dan? Just so you know, changing a fuel filter on one of these engines is relatively cheap... I do mine every 25,000 miles.

Change your fuel filter anyway... the last thing you need is water freezing in there, and the injectors are very sensitive to dirt 'n crud. My experience is you'll gain some mileage back especially this time of year. You want to lube the zerks between PMs in any case...

Yeah me too but this new system is very high pressures so I believe that is why.
