Chicago cdl going to be valid in Texas?

    ... and if you aint got the Cattle (Money) to back up your mouth or that 25 gallon hat, stay away from Texas... He he he.

    I love to pick on Texas now and then, those prickly long horns can use a little teasing now and then.

    What really gets me is that people from very large urban areas like Chiraq show up far away somewhere else in a totally different land. It's gotta be a trip for some of them.

    No, you just go to the DPS (dmv) and just swap it. Without tests or anything (I don't have hazmat) so not sure if u have to retest for that

    Pretty sure you'll be ok. I just went through this in Colorado. All that was required, was a current Med card, ( and a fee, of course) and they would have transferred my Wisconsin CDL. Since I'm retired, and have no Med card, I opted to tear up the CDL, and no regrets.

    I'm gonna retire in about 6 months,but will keep the basic CDL, just in case I get bored or need beer money.lol

    I still have mine. However it has a void punched in it because I have had ALL my driving preveliges taken away because of epilepsy. I can use this as ID, however I also have a VA issued ID card now.
