Chicago cdl going to be valid in Texas?

Actually, that's not entirely true. In the right hand upper corner, my Wis. CDL says ,"Not for Federal ID purposes". You wouldn't believe the rigamaroll I had to go through, just to get my regular license. Birth cert., parents death cert., HS diploma, latest W2, had to register to vote in Colorado, plus a few more. I almost didn't get it. Funny, years ago, it was " that will be 8 bucks,,,NEXT".

 

Do you have the Real ID yet? I think that's mandatory by 2020, for such as flying, rail passenger, passport, etc.
You living in Colorado now? Hanging out in karaoke bars doing your John Denver act?

 

Lowes made me switch to a Utah CDL before hiring even though my wife was military and our residency was still in Ohio. Had to take Utah's written exam.
If you have to switch to TX license and need to switch back to IL in the future, I have heard that Illinois will make you retake the entire test, even the driving portion.

 

In my case it is. the Commonwealth of Virginia canceled ALL my driving privileges. Heck I can't get the VA to issue me a much needed scooter because of these seizures.

 

I believe the new Colorado license is good for that stuff, not that I plan on doing any of those things. I think all people have to get a new license when it's renewal time. And yes, I moved about 2 months ago and love it here, and free healthcare(for retired folks) to boot. And for the record, I liked John Denver, although, I'm no where near that city. Pretty rough place, Denver.

I know this is a dirty word on TTR, but cannibis, legal here, has shown great promise for seizures. Come to Colorado, 260 new people PER DAY can't be wrong.
