Plants don't have a central nervous system. No brain, no pain. As stated, when you put a carrot by a flame, it doesn't try to move away or scream. Put any animal by a flame and watch it scream and move away. Plants dont have the wiring to feel pain or the brain to interpret signals from a central nervous system to feel pain. Did you know that with the plant material we feed the 60 BILLION land animals that we murder each year we could end world hunger? Fact. Think about how much grain it takes to feed one cow or pig every year. Then multiply that by 60 BILLION!!! We are using animals as a filtration system to get our grain.
