I have t 680 with oval amber lights running under cab and sleeper. I've seen them on many KWs and Pete's, so I'm guessing it might be a factory option. My driver side stopped working. Can anybody explain how is it wired and where is a ground located?

It’s usually a 2 wire continuous strand. Look at the front. There’s a broken wire in there somewhere before they get to the lights

I know the ones on my 97 are scotch locked together, they like to quit and cut out and generally be a pain in the ###. They're usually grounded right to the panel in my experience, each light is actually individually grounded where it's screwed on. If the whole side is not working I'm guessing your hot wire is broke somewhere.

Upon further inspection it looks like it is spliced into turn signal. And they used crappy connectors.
