Is there any question that the next hundred years will be led by China? The U.S. is trillions in debt, the cities are full of homeless and violent gangs, and people are arguing over how many genders there are.

Eventually there will be a line running from Kunming city in Yunnan province to Bangkok.

The bottleneck is Vietnam not wanting the track to run through Vietnam.

Oct 20, 2020 · China - Thailand Railway, or Sino - Thai Railway hasn't been opened yet. The construction began in December, 2017. About 4 years are needed to complete this high speed rail project, by when it will run through three countries including China, Laos and Thailand.
Thailand railway project will be extended all the way to Singapore, shaping a high speed railway as long as 1,864 miles (3,000 km), namely Kunming - Singapore Railway.Attached Files:

Any stop/station with this line is going to be about a 4-5 hours drive to my final destination in Ubon but is a welcome alternative if flights are scarce. Will be taking the train into BKK this time back to the states cause domestic flights are not guaranteed. Flights have always been stupid cheap to/from BKK/Ubon with a 1hr nonstop being as cheap as $20 with no checked luggage....usually no more than $50 with 2-50# bags. Comparatively, a flight from Houston Bush to New Orleans or Baton Rouge (1.5hrs) is gonna run you nearly $200-250 regardless of luggage.Chinatown Thanks this.
