Hello, I apologize for resurrecting this thread but I have been reading a lot with no luck.

I am looking to buy a diagnostic tool that would work with Volvo D13, one has an eaton manual and the other is I-shift transmission.

would the 9995888 work to modify parameters?
Should I get the Nexiq instead?
would the nexiq work with the Vcads pro?
I have windows 7 home pemium in my laptop, jus usb ports. I could change if needed

I appreciate any help.

 

I forgot to mention that both trucks are 2011 models

 

Tech Tool and VCADs give you limited access to parameters. For parameter change Dev2tool you need, but it is available not for dealers, but for Volvo developer engeneers

I purchased a set of Chinese made VCADS for my 2007-D16 and 2010-D13. It didn’t come with the 9 pin so I bought a cheap 9 pin-6 pin to OBD adaptor. I followed the instructions and installed it on my D630 laptop. The problem is when I hook it up it only scans to 10% and disappears and I get the message 56001 also no communication with vehicle. Please can you help me with any ideas on how to get it to work. The Chinese support service is not helpful. Below are pictures of my setup. Thanks a lot man!

 

Hey Pablo, I have d13 volvo 2011, it's starting hard. I recently replaced fuel filter housing but it did not help. And also 6 injectors and cups replaced 1.5 years ago...so what do you advise?
