Chinese buying Texas oil fields.

That's right & much of it isn't even sold until it's on the open seas.
The Chinese have the cash though for high risk ventures. My friend in San Francisco lives in a multi-million dollar condo and he and his wife told me the Chinese pay cash for those condo's just so their children don't have to live in the dorms at the university. They don't want their children mingling with the lower class.

 

Gambei, yep and they yell it. Seems that every couple of minutes someone yells "Gambei!" so lots of drunks at what started as a nice meal.
They use clear rice wine that looks like water, but that stuff is really strong. What I do is dump my glass of wine under the table or in a potted plant then fill the glass with water. This way I can "GAMBEI" all night.
When someone fills your glass with rice wine you then have an obligation to toast with the table and drink the whole glass.
My friend from Rochester NY and me went to a big wedding party and at the end of the night the only people sober were me and him and our wives. Everyone else except the children were really drunk. He and I were drinking water all night and hittin' on the drunk women.
