I imagine she will be even happier to see you than my husband was to see me this afternoon! After all, I was only out 3 weeks ;) Besides, you're moving soon - shouldn't you be helping her pack?

sadwar is doing exactly what I think would benefit all of us. Once you book a load and know who the customers are you simply enter that information into the spreadsheet. Then when the next guy is looking at a load, he could see if someone else has picked up in that city delivering to a certain city, should help narrow down who the customer is. Not that this would be 100 percent, but it would give us a good idea. Also could help us stay away from others bad experiences. Long load/unload times etc. I can put together a sheet and load it on google docs. But, only verified choice drivers should have access to it. So i see DFO, dipschitt, sadwar and myself are in. Anyone else? I will work on setting up the sheet in the next day or so and will PM a link to it.

This great you guys are doing a spreadsheet and keeping track. Now if all drivers everywhere would do a website similar and these bad shippers/receivers started not having less drivers to move their freight, perhaps eventually they would change their ways!

But would need to be website where they themselves could see no one wants their loads. Not a forum like this. Just a thought. Drivers need to stick together on this one.

A little trick here guys, learn the zip codes of the customers and it will help you realize who they are, they show the zip codes on our load board. I use this alot for booking my loads in a particular city with many zip codes.

Yep. I have that on my spreadsheet. Also helps when saving them in Google maps.

Wow. Ran 460 miles from El Paso to Phoenix today. Amazon changed my live unload to a drop and hook, yeah. Then, while trying to unlock my fifth wheel from the loaded trailer, it jams. Three hours later mobile repair is still trying to get it loose. Think they're about to take the blow torch to it. Lost all my loads to get home. Going to OC to see about getting a new fifth wheel in the morning.
    Sigh.....

Ouch, not good, see about having it rebuilt, much cheaper than a new one.
