Yeah unless you want to get a different 5th wheel for some reason, I'd just have your current one rebuilt. No need to get a new one. Or if you really want to get back on the road soon, see if there is a wrecked pumpkin in the yard they might let you buy one off of.

Four hours later, I am finally free from the trailer! They had to cut the swivel pins with a blow torch and knock them out to get me free. My fifth wheel is in pieces strapped to the back of my truck. Should be an interesting day tomorrow.....

That inhales with great force, sadwar. Here's hoping you can get a new/different 5th wheel and get back on the road asap!

Did see some excitement during my four hour wait at Amazon last night. About ten spots down from mine a Navajo back up to an empty, hooked up, jumped out and connected the air lines and raised the landing gear. Gets back in the truck and pulls forward. As he turns to head down the yard to the exit the trailer disconnects from the tractor and keeps going straight ahead. The only thing that saved the trailer from hitting the ground was the back left tire. Turns out the driver had high hooked the trailer and didn't even notice! Yard dog drives over and offers to help raise the trailer up so the driver can put the landing gear down. Driver was a complete douche, yelling, cursing, saying he would and could take care of it. The yard dog politely told him obviously he couldn't take care of it the first time and the yard dog insisted on raising up the trailer and helping. Driver finally backed down and they got the trailer hooked up correctly the second time and he went on his way.
Some excitement to an otherwise looooong wait.

Blah. Bushing kit won't work. Need new mounting frame. None here. Two day truck freight from Green Bay. Dang....
However.... Fontana has a used mounting frame! So, gonna bobtail over to Fontana and get used mounting frame and a brand new plate. Hopefully by tomorrow. Just gonna go home for a few days. Need a break!
