-
I don't plan on making to many to many trips up this way if I can help it....I know it may be times I will have to but I'm just not use to the north or northeast..... I was on family dollar account running parts of TN..MO..AL..OK but all of MS, LA, AR and half of TX........sorry many stories I hear about VA and all above with the hills n mountains and rules n regulations...... Not like that in the south
-
Just remember not to never say you wont go to most places. after all it is a business and you have to run it like one and go where the freight is best. with that said i don't blame you for not running north i don't like to either however sometimes you gotta do what you gotta. Maybe i missed it but what type of truck did you get saleen.
-
I feel you....I'm open for wherever but with north, northeast being last pick lol....I got a 2014 freightliner cascadia EVO platinum color....10spd eaton ....108,138 on dash with thermo king tripac.....never had that on company truck so gotta get use to that...$766 lease plus $108 main fund..........plus the permits etc from Schneider......believe its like $1030 week.....good thing is I'm glad I'm going back on Wifey insurance so that will help to.

Well I had an apu on my company but it wasn't setup the same..... The bunk heater kept going out after about 4 hours of use.....nearly froze one night at 2a in 22 degree weather....... Hope this does better.....signed a 1 year lease to give it a good shot then will plan from there whether to pursue leasing the rest or try to get my own truck n lease on like 1 guy here in class did....he got a freightliner glider with a brand new engine with 1,900 miles on it that he put on driving up here
-
Is the apu electric or diesel?
-
Good question.... Believe electrical.... Trying to read up on it now....just drove it for the first time.....had to bring it back....needs wheel alignment.... Pulls hard right...sucks...hope I can have it back by noon tomorrow once class is over
-
