I don't know where the 57k for lease payments a year comes from but my truck lease payment for the 52 weeks comes to exactly 41,496.00 PER YEAR (52) weeks not 57k and that's for a 2015 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution that I pick up this coming week..

I thought you said your payment was 1100 a week. I just reread it and you said and such so I assume that's maintenance fee and whatnot in that 1100.

Sitting at home on my first day off. I turned the truck into the shop so they could do the DOT inspection and check why my AC no longer worked and why all my air pressure was leaking out, again. They called me today. They found a busted AC hose, a coolant line leaking, an air hose leaking, and the rear of my transmission leaking. All will be fixed before I return on Wed. I suspect my front right airbag blowing up caused some of the damage, though I saw none when I looked.
    The beat goes on......

    Back in the saddle again.........

Enjoyed my time at home, but it's time to hit the road running!

Arrived back at the S El Monte yard at 7:30. Got the keys back for my truck. $1300 worth of parts and labor done to the blue beast while I was away. Managed maintenance account to the rescue!!

Did my 2nd quarter sustainment training. Looked for an empty but of course none could be found. Box planner swears there is one at a customer on the way to my live load tmrw. Hmmmmmmmmmm.... we'll find out in the morning now won't we?!?!

My live load tmrw says it is 5 hours and 45 minutes!! Here's hoping that is a typo. It's an awesome paying load going to South Carolina. Nice easy four day run. I've got to be back in NY on May 9th to take care of some more moving stuff. Speaking of moving stuff, did a lot of that on my home time. Be glad when it is done! 7 weeks and counting down!

APU running keeping me cool. We broke all kinds of heat records today and it's going to be even worse tmrw and Thursday. Glad I'm leaving, maybe I can find some cooler air across I-40 all the way to SC!

    Time for bed...........take er easy!
